We had our elective u/s yesterday and what a little turd!! She had her face pressed right up against the placenta the ENTIRE time!! We are able to return for another visit for free to try again and have it scheduled for the 16th.

In any case, we left with the ONE shot that even remotely looks like a baby. Everything else was just placenta. She was confirmed still girl so I am relieved with that. Also, confirmed head down which makes no sense to me because I was told my placenta is at the upper right side of the uterus. I just assume that as the uterus has grown it stayed down low instead of moving up with the uterus growth.

It was so special to do though and I am thrilled that I get to go back. I just pray that the 2 weeks until the 16th don't just mean she is even more squished in there and therefore even worse shots. She was so funny in there...clearly sleeping at first and then we poked around at her and woke her up. Then she started kicking at the u/s wand, yawning, and clearly LICKING her placenta! YEP...my child was licking her placenta!!! Ryan was so grossed out by it!

Without further ado here is my crappy pic of my stubborn beautiful baby Peach! I think she is looking like Owen more than Leila. I can't wait to see now!!!

Hope you have better luck next time. With Katie I had 21 ultrasounds and never saw her face so some babies are just little buggers. LOL!
