So I found out on April 1st that I was pregnant. They had to do blood work to check. My HCG level was at 31 and the nurse said that we concieved maybe a week and a half ago. Was just wondering if this sounds normal or does that sound low. THe doc office doesnt seem nervious. I had one loss before this pg and I am sort of worried. I go back for bloodwork on wednesday and they usually call me back by the next day. I guess what I am asking is if anyone had such low levels when they found out? Thanks ladies!

I don't know a lot about the HCG levels. If they didn't seem concerned then maybe you shouldn't be either. I found out I was pregnant on April 1st too, but I never had blood work. Whatever you do, don't start searching all over the internet. I think they say as long as it doubles every 2-3 days then everything is going as it should.

Mine started out at 22, so don't be too concerned! As long as they are doubling every 2-3 days that's what you want. Try not to stress too much, that's not good for you or the bean.

No, that sounds very normal. Most pregnancy tests pick up a min of 25-100 hcg, obviously the higher the number, the closer to missed period you are (or past)
