Every time I eat, but especially bad in the mornings, I feel fine, eat on the smallish side of a meal(ie half a serving usually fills me up) and then just a little bit later, I feel awful. It feels like when you are really weak from not eating in awhile and on speed at the same time. If that makes any sense...I feel weak and shaky, plus dizzy and just a tad groggy. My sugar is fine, there weren't any problems with the glucose test. Why do I feel so weird and what can I do to make it go away???? I had this with my last pregnancy too, and the only thing the docs could say was that maybe my uterus is pressing more on my spine so when I eat there's less room so it pushes more. But I'm really not as big now as I was with him, so I dunno. I just know I feel really bad and it is interfering with work, which is not a good thing. Any ideas? Oh and also, I am downing water so I don't think its a dehydration thing. This kinda sucks, and just adds to the ok I'm ready for full term to GET HERE ALREADY feeling....

i don't have the weak feeling after i eat, but i do feel really nauseous and like the room is spinning a bit. i wouldn't think it was blood sugar related, but i guess you never know. our pregnant bodies do some strange things!

I have this EXACT same issue, my OB asked me if maybe i was eating to much "sugary" foods at one sitting but i dont, i havent been able to find a solution, but it gets bad sometimes when i meet DH for lunch if we sit there for a few before leaving i'll start to get the weak/light headed feeling and have to sit there for a few before leaving.... Im def. curious to see if anyone has any advice to offer

If you eat again, will it make you feel better? You may want to try keeping something small (and healthy) to snack on bit by bit through out the day. Maybe keep some crackers, grapes, raisins, etc. handy.

I do that usually, just because I feel hungry pretty often. Honestly, I haven't found anything that consistently makes it better, sometimes if I eat again its better, sometimes it makes it worse. Sometimes (TMI ALERT!) if I go to the bathroom its better, but not always. I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels like this though-at least I'm not alone!

i know that feeling. i havent had it this pregnancy. by any chance do you see spots or anyhting? could be nothing, but might be your blood pressure every now and then making you feel that way. no clue though. i knwo your blood pressure can be fine most of the time and sometimes just go up (or down) so thats something they wouldnt know in your drs office unless they took your blood pressure while you felt that way to be able to rule it out. sounds like how i was with my pregnancy with my son. it started at 33 weeks for me, but blood pressure issues can arise at any time.

just a little update, supper and lunch--same problem within 1/2 an hour of finishing. One was a smaller meal, one was larger. I am asking the docs about it Monday morning. I will update this if I find anything out. I hope we can all feel better soon. This is making me just not want to eat!!!

i feel the exact same way too, i actually left work early for maternity leave because i was feeling weak, dizzy, nauseaus and all that, and i thought maybe i was working too hard. i work in laundry at a hotel and it involves alot of walking, standing and handling hot laundry so i thought it was too much. so when i went to my last docs appointment i mentioned it to him and he told me that some dizziness is common in pregnancy but if it gets worse or keeps happening than they would be concerned. i did have blood work done about a month ago to check for anemia and blood sugar but it was all normal. i still get dizzy spells since finishing work. but since alot of us are experiencing the same thing it may be one of those pesky pregnancy problems but its always best to get checked just in case its something serious.
