Does anyone know if diarrhea is an early labor sign? I woke up this morning and had a normal BM, but then a 1/2 hour later, my stomach "exploded".
Hopefully I'm not getting a stomach bug!

It can be.
Things have been....er....loose for me in that department for about 2-3 weeks. Just in the last 3 days it's durned to diarrhea though. I feel fine otherwise and it's not constant so I'm pretty sure mine's not a stomach bug. Hopefully it's a good sign....for BOTH of us!!!

Yes your stool can loosen as a sign of early labor. Have you eaten anything that didn't agree with you? I hope you're not getting a bug either. I hope you're getting a baby!

If it is, Ive been in labor for the past 9 months, LOL
Ive wondered the same thing myself because Ive noticed that when Im pregnant I go more than usual.. it starts off being once a day than it goes to multiple times a day and then as I get closer to the end its more and more frequent. It could just be the pressure on our bladders though. Hopefully it goes away for you, I know its literatly a pain in the butt, LOL.

Like others have said it can be.....I had it at 4:30am with DD....water broke around 6:30AM...had some more....then went to the hossy and had her later that day. Although could just be something you ate. I've had loose stools for a few weeks now...who knows?! Let us know how things go!

Man, do I feel like crap. It hasn't let up and now I have a backache and my body hurts, kind of like when you get the flu.
I don't have a temp....oh please tell me I'm not coming down w/something.

I've heard it can be too. I've been pretty constipated the whole pregnancy and the other night I was up three times in the middle of the night with it. Hopefully its a good sign for you and not a bug.

Hope you're not getting sick!!! Diarrhea can be an early labor sign, but it can also be very common in the last month of pregnancy. Rest up, drink your water & feel better soon!

Hi just dropping in. Yes maam it can be a sign. I had it with my DD and then started losing my mucus plug. Two days later I went into full on labor. GOOD LUCK!

I have a 100 degree fever, so I think I caught something. I took some tylenol and will call the dr in the am.
