I know I've complained about these before... but I have yet to find any information about this type of pain i've been getting anyware on the internet. My doc is even a little baffled by it!
It usually comes on in the middle of the night on the side that baby is laying on. Starts out mild...and then the pain grows in intensity (just like a charlie horse) The pain lasts usually between 5-10min VERY VERY Long time. And is extremly painfull..durring this time i can hardly breath let alone move!! THESE ARE NOT Round ligament pains.. I've gotton those too and they are in a totaly different spot...not nearly as painful, don't last as long, and usually come on when i cough or sneeze.

So anyone else getting these?? Anyone even heard of this??

At first I thought no. But the more I read, the more I understood what you were saying. Sometimes if I move wrong or cough/sneeze, I get a horrible pain like you describe. I keep chalking it up to things stretching. It's enough to stop me in my tracks. It's not the same as ligament pain or contractions. It is a lot like a charlie horse. Mines not in my uterus though. It's more above the groin area and doesn't feel like my uterus, more like muscle.

Sounds like what you have going on is pubic symphysis pain. I had that going on for a while...the chiropractor really helped alievete it!!! It's caused by the pregnancy hormones that ready the body and loosen ligements to prepare for birth. Google it and see if thats the same thing your having.

Not me, but my sister may have experienced something similar yesterday and today (she is 37 weeks pregnant). Yesterday she was at my house and it almost dropped her to her knees, tears rolled down her face. I asked her if she thought it was a contraction, she said it didn't feel like a typical contraction from what she had with her first child. It lasted several minutes straight without letting up. She finally got over to my couch and layed on her left side for a while and felt better. It happened again today.

I have been having these for a while. They really freaked me out. I thought they were contractions before I started having BH. *I didn't know what to expect lol* I asked my m/w about it and she said it was normal. I was surprised that it was normal and that is could hurt so bad and be perfectly ok. She told me women have them all the time. Now that is what she told me but if you are worried you should def. call your m/w or dr. just to make sure. I would hate to tell you everything is ok and then it not be. KWIM?
