I know some ladies get BH contractions and never feel them; I am either in that category or I haven't had any. I can't imagine that I haven't had any at all... But I have never felt anything like a contraction so perhaps I am just one of the lucky ones who cannot feel them up to this point. (I'll be kicking myself tomorrow if I just happen to start feeling them after making this post... lol...) So unfortunately I can't sympathize with you since I don't know how it feels myself... I feel lots of kicks, punches and movements from the baby, but nothing contraction related.
I was reading about them the other day though, and it seems like they can be really different for many women. I don't know if it would help you a lot, but I do remember reading that they can be brought on (or made stronger/more painful) due to dehydration... So maybe increasing your water consumption might help if some days you're not drinking as much as you need to. I have read that they can be more intense (or be able to be felt more) for women in their second (or more) pregnancy than women who are having their first.
I personally don't think your baby would be too small for you to feel at this point (so that may likely be what you're feeling). I mean, my doctor can push around on my belly and know where my baby's head and bottom are at by this point so I would imagine you could feel it too. You can see on your ticker that it says your baby is about 14" long... I definitely think you'd be able to feel that inside your abdomen and maybe even see it during some contractions.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having a difficult time with the BH contractions and I hope maybe you can find something that will help make it less uncomfortable for you (maybe some of the BTDT moms will have some more suggestions than just drinking more water). But just try and keep in mind that they are a good thing and your body gearing itself up for your new baby to be born.
