I saw that Cold Stone Creamery has some very yummy ice cream cakes out right now and I thought to myself how nice it'd be to have something yummy like that waiting for me when I come home from the hospital. So, I told DH to make sure I have the Strawberry Passion cake waiting for me. I love Red Velvet cake and that's part of what this cake is. It looks so good!!!!

I thought I might order one for him to so we have a "new mommy" and "new daddy" cake waiting for us both. He doesn't care for the Strawberry one that I want but he does like cookies and cream and cookie dough. So, I thought I might get him one of those to enjoy.

Yum! I love Cold Stone....DH does not. He prefers Bruster's. I don't really care, as long as I get my ice cream fix!

I haven't had the Cold Stone cakes, though they look awesome. The Bruster's cakes are what we usually get, and they rock.

Going to google both now and see if we have either near us. The only places around here for ice cream cakes that I know of is Carvel in the supermarkets and Dairy Queen.

I know I just commented but I have a few things to add....I LOVE ice cream and I don't know if I love the cakes more or not but I get an ice cream cake every year for my birthday. I would probably eat them more if they weren't so expensive compared to regular ice cream. Anyway I looked up Cold Stone and Bruster's and we do have one close to us...not far from our Accountants office...we don't go near there often but it'll be worth the trip! Heres the funny part...Cold Stones Address is 304B Greentree Rd and Brusters is 305 Greentree Rd....they must be next to or across from each other.
