Sorry, no baby yet. My grandmom has been visiting this past week and was going home today. My mom is taking her home-3 hours away- they called to make sure I didn't have any reason for them to stay(ie having the baby) but also to tell me that my grandmom heard that DH had been out of work for a couple of weeks and she knew I am now on leave without pay, so she decided to make this months car payment for us!!!!! I was so surprised! She usually will give me $40-$50 just because before she leaves, but this just blew me away! She also bought me lunch one day and bought the baby a set of onesies I wanted(they match a set we have for DS so I will be able to take matching pictures ) My mom doesn't know it, but we were a month behind on my car already, so this will catch us up, and help my stress level SOOOO much! Its been a good start to the morning, and a good distraction to all the false labor disappointments lately.

That is sooo awesome! Sometimes when it looks like a dark tunnel ahead...someone comes along and flips on the light for us!!! Yay for your Grandma!

see, grandparents are just wonderful people. my grandfather used to do the same thing for me all the time. he'd pass me a $20 or something like that just for the heck of it. dd's grandfather does the same thing with her now. i mean she's only almost 2 but she knows he just hands it out to her when she asks, even though she doesn't know what it's used for!
