Gavin has gotten too big for his baby bathtub, but he isn't really sitting up either so I am at a loss as to how to bathe him that doesn't make him mad or break my back! When my daughter was his age I think I used a bath seat, but it doesn't look like those are sold anymore. What is everyone else using to bathe their babies, especially those on the bigger side??

I had a seat for Frederick. I used to use that in the sink. With him getting too tall, I get in the bathtub with him and bathe him that way.

We're still using our baby tub. It's a little deeper than most, i think.

We bought a larger bathtub so we are still using that, I am not sure what we are going to do once he is too big for it, maybe just use the sink since our bathtub is really low and has sliding doors so it is hard to use.

I am still using the same one. It is a newborn to toddler tub and you move them the opposite way to sit up when they get bigger. Since all Zane wants to do is sit up I usually put him that way and just keep him balanced with one hand or have DH help me. I have seen in other PR's those rings you put in the bathtub but I am not sure who sells them.

Miles is outgrowing his tub as well. Would you guys mind posting links to the tubs you're successfully using? We're thinking about buying this one.

i wish i had an answer for you, you could proably still get one of those ring things off of ebay to use, but Hope's not that big so she is still in the baby bathtub, but when mr b was a baby, i would just put him in the tub o his back or tummy with about 2 inches of water in the tub and bath him that way.... good luck i hope you cna find something tht works for you!

We use the aquarium bathtub

I have had to take the hammock out, and she is still doing well in the tub. I have been looking at a tummy tub. They are too cute. Probably impractical at this stage since she is growing so fast. I will probably just bath with her more often now.

We have a baby to toddler tub too: Tub

Its very simple, no bells and whistles. It has a drain plug that leaks a little on ours, but we put a washcloth under the plug and that's more than enough. It's also friggin huge, but very light weight. We keep it in Ava's closet. Very easy to clean, just rinse it out in your bathtub.

We're also using the FP Aquarium tub. My kitchen sink is prety deep so I might even bathe him in there once he gets a little older. Anything to avoid bending over the tub to bathe. It sure is a back breaker.

We were going to get one of these in a few months.

For now we are still using the FP Aquarium bath tub. We disattached the lower half of the hamock so she can still use the headrest part.

One of us usually just takes a shower with her. I'll hand her over to my husband while hes already in there for a few minutes or vice versa.

We have the infant to toddler tub, but the last time we used it she kicked a lot and cried. I think she kicked the plastic at the other end and hurt her feet. Since then I've been bathing her in the regular tub. She can splash and kick all she wants, and it doesn't hurt my back.
