Ok, I had to go to court this morning to defend against a small claims issue. I usually do all the small claims for this business but this is the first time as defendant and my bosses are out of town, on a company cruise I couldn't go on. Anyway, I always get a bit nervous before talking to the judge, even on a slam dunk which this one was, but today, my heart started beating so hard I could see it through my shirt, I got out of breath and had to concentrate to get it back under control. After the case got started my heart calmed down and I could breath normal again but it got me thinking. Last night I started taking Sudafed for my sinuses, I couldn't deal with them anymore.
Ok, all my stuff, what do you think?

I would call the DR, my father passed away at only 36 from atherosclerosis which is basically the hardening of your heart (he had no clue before hand and ignored pains a few days before hand thinking it was a pulled muscle).

Because of this, my DR is watching me very closely apparently while your pregnant there are alot of things that you can develop within your heart as a result of the pregnancy ~ many things that will actually cause congenital heart disease. Not to mention the extra stress on it.... if nothing else at least by going to the DR you'll know your OK. Dont let them just tell you not to worry about it either, make sure they at least do an EKG and/or an Echocardiogram....neither are invasive test and they really should order both of them if you have concerns.

Thanks ladies. I'm sure I already knew I just was trying to bury my head in the sand. I am leaving for California tomorrow so I'll try to get a hold of my Dr before then. At least I haven't had it happen again.

I'm sure it was probably a combination of the sudafed and the stress. but I would bring it up to the dr!
