I was given an Arbonne set for babies that has a bottle of sunscreen in it and I really like it. It doesn't wash off easily, even after swimming in the pool all day. Plus, it never made Claire break out or anything (I had to use someone's sunscreen one day while at the zoo and it caused her to get a rash, I can't remember what the brand was though).

I don't think you are supposed to put sunscreen on them until 6 months old - it is better to keep them out of the sun...using hats, etc...

Not really Amy - and I might be wrong - double check with your pediatrician - but you just need to make sure you have them in the shade (like a stroller cover and a hat)...ya know?

actually, you were right. Here is a website I found about infants and sunscreen. Thanks for your info, or I wouldnt have looked it up.

I dont plan on having her out in the direct sun, I just really like taking walks and hoping to loose my baby weight this summer.

Here is the website I found:

We don't use sunscreen on our infants. Most sunscreens say right on them not to use under 6 months, but there are some brands out there that are okay for babies. They tend to be the natural brands. California Baby has sunscreen that can be used on newborns, but they still have a thing on their website saying that if possible you shouldn't: http://www.californiababy.com/no-fragrance...ion-4-5-oz.html Interesting since they are trying to sell the sunscreen and are still being honest and saying the AAP says to keep under 6 month olds out of the sun completely.

My pediatrician told me no sunscreen for 6 months so we'll just use hats and shade untill then. After 6 months I'll probably use waterbabies.
