So I havent went maternity shopping yet just because alot of that stuff isn't quite the right size yet. I figured if I got a few pairs of cheap pants/capris/jeans then I'd have postpartum clothes to be able to wear too.
I am showing for sure already, and none of my current pants fit - either I cant button or zip them or I can't get them up over my hips/butt at all.
So I went shopping yesterday and normally for jeans I'd pick up a 0 and a 2 to try on so I figured I'd try a 2 and a 4....nope that didnt work - straight to a size 6 LOL
I couldnt believe it... I've never been able to wear even a 4 without it falling off and I'm up to a 6 now!
SO for all of those people who still argue that they can't tell I'm pregnant (when 20 other people can) ..... I've got growth!!!

I haven't changed sizes...just bought my pre-pregnancy size in shirts and pants. I can see needing larger shirts later on.
Someone else posted about this but I highly recommend the Secret Fit Belly pants from Motherhood/Mimi Maternity. They are awesome and have a ton of room to grow into!
Congrats on the growth! I only had a few maternity pants when pregnant. I just always moved up in jeans. At the end of my pregnancy with ds, I was in a size 16! I normally wear a 4 or 6. Needless to say all those huge pants went to goodwill after I delivered.
I am the same size. However- because of my pooch I have bought a ton of new loose/empire shirts to wear for a while (in my regular size). Though all my shirts "fit" I hate how I look fat ant nor preggers yet! So no tight shirts until I have the *cute* belly! LOL
I started wearing maternity clothes with my bella belt. I am in all med stuff so that I will not have to re buy them. I know by the end I will be a med.
I started with 16 in my last pg, and after Ben was born I (very, very briefly) wore 22/24. I started this pg in 14. I wore 16's for quite a while before going back to my old maternity clothes from last time. If I were in regular clothes, I'd guess I'm in an 18 right now??
I've not changed too much yet, noticed my stomach growing and trousers getting a little tighter in that area but that's all, I've not had to wear anything different or buy anything else just yet!
I can still wear my same size jeans and pants if they are low riders. Any normal waisted pants are out! I prefer maternity just for comfort though and I am definitely showing--it's amazing how fast I did. I didn't go into maternity until 4.5-5 months with Troy and I have been in maternity for 3-4 weeks now. People are starting to make comments--what's funny though is I have lost 5 lbs and haven't gained any back--just that big ole belly!
Im actually down a size because I lost 18 pounds since I got preggo (m/S) So, I am wearing my skinny pants , the legs are huge and the belly is skin tight. So, I am wearing a lot of pregnancy shirts already that way I dont just look fat I can definately tell the difference

OH yeah... big changes.
I started at a size 6/8. Been out of the 6's for a while now.. 8's can't really button anymore.
Noticed my thighs look thicker. Probably cuz I quit running.. Doctors orders!
Being that this is my last I plan to get down to a small size again. quickly and keep it that way!
That is my goal anyway!

I feel like I'm growing too fast... I am usually a 6, but when I was 6weeks my jeans were already uncomfortable. Now, I don't even look right in my pre-preg shirts... SO, it is pretty much all maternity, all the time. But, that is mo stly for comfort, I'm sure I could squeeze myself into my clothes
A few weeks ago I was wearing small maternity pants and shirts in a bigger size. Now I am back in my old pre-pregnancy clothes because all the maternity stuff was just toooo big. So, hopefully I will get the big belly soon and feel comfy in my maternity clothes. I do not like this in-between stage...
I went up pretty quickly from my normal size 4 to size 8. I wore those size 8 jeans up until maybe a week and a half ago. The maternity pants just look cuter on me. I haven't gained weight anywhere else but up front, so the waist was getting hard to button, but the thighs and butt looked all baggy. Now with these maternity jeans, I look way better. I just looked dumpy before.

i went down like 3 sizes! not because i lost weight, but because my abdomen is disproportionate to my hips, so pants would be huge around my crotch and tight around my waist. now with a stretchy belly, i can wear pants that fit. right now i am wearing a size 8, but a lot of those are too big. i could probably go to a size 6, and yesterday i bought a pair of shorts in a size small. i was wearing a 10/12 before!
I haven't changed sizes (thank goodness) but I did buy my maternity pants a size big b/c I know by the end I'll need them. With the secret belly fit, they actually fit fine and are just a little loose in the butt...who knows how long that'll last!
I am already wearing maturnity pants in a size medium and their starting to get tight. I dont even want to know what size I would be wearing in reg size jeans. Pre pg I was a size 8.
I'm only 1 size up in pants. I've lost 5 lbs since being prego, but my belly is huge. I do have one pair of maternity pants that I wear once in a while, but I definitely cannot wear my pre preg size pants, they fit everywhere great except I don't even think I'd be able to button them.

I'm exactly the same way. Normally a size 4, and I've been wearing my normal jeans/pants totally unzipeed with the bella band. But now, it's too uncomfortable even with the bella band, so I bought a pair of capris from Motherhood last weekend (the "Secret Fit Belly" is super comfy!) and I'm going to have to buy some jeans and more capris this coming weekend. I've only gained about 5 pounds, but it's all in my belly so the maternity stuff seems to be fitting me perfectly. And yes, I agree with the post above...since I haven't gained weight anywhere else, I'd just look "dumpy" in bigger sizes, so I think I'll just stick with maternity now.
I have actually lost about 10lbs, but I can't wear any of my clothes! well, a few shirts, but that's it. my belly is huge, my boobs are huge, I look totally pregnant, which is nice, but come on! I have since I was like, 10 weeks! nnow the bloating is all gone and it's all belly that isn't going away, but getting bigger by the minute!
normally I wear an XL/size 14 (not normally, but in the last few months before I got pregnant) now I am in a size large maternity clothes, and size 10's and 12's! it's really weird. it's like the only place I have lost is my face and my arms, but my pants are a smaller size??? I don't get it.

I can wear most of my jeans still with a bella band or low riders. Most of my shirts are pulling up so I went to longer shirts and flowy styles. I did go up a bra size tho'....excited about that one. With my last pregnancy most people said they couldn't tell till I turned around and they saw the belly....hoping it stays that way but we shall see!
