Ultrasound yesterday, prenatal today...

Well. I hate this island! My doula, being the Godsend that she is, has been carting my fat ol butt around the island to my prenatal appointments and then up into the big town (almost an hour away) for that stupid ultrasound, that they did not let me get...

Okay so, we were ten whole minutes late, I know, killer, and by time they let us upstairs after the initial check in we were 20 minutes late, and they refused to see me. I WAS SO ##### PISSED! I had this appointment on Tuesday at like 1pm and they called and cancelled on me like 2 hours before, and so my appointment was changed to yesterday at 2.30. Anyway, it was like 2.45 and the next appointment wasn't until freaking 3.15, the doctor wasn't DOING ANYTHING and we were sitting out there being stared at because I was throwing a fit about being refused, after all the ###### trouble we had to go through to GET THERE. They complained about us not being there early, well, where was miss 3.15? NOT THERE EITHER. I was so pissed off, all they had to do was squirt gunk on my stomach, and look at a ###### tv monitor. FIVE MINUTES IN AND OUT! But no, a half hour wasn't enough time for them. Ohh my God I was so pissed off! So, she took me over to the Maui Mall and I sat there for like an hour waiting for Mike and his co worker to pick me up after they got off work... :'( Broke as hell, wonderful shops, sore butt........... *sigh*

So today, we went to my OB appointment, did the usual, yada yada. I'm 50% effaced and ZERO% dilated still, so nothing much been going on down there.. I feel like all my BH contractions, cramping, pulling and yanking, and back labor have been for naught. WTH IS GOING ON THEN?? I was talking to the doc about how she feels about inducing and she said she usually likes to do it after 41 weeks.. eh.. She gave us the call schedule for all 6 of the doctors who could be delivering my baby, and I decided based on that I might just use June 17th as my fall back date for inducing, because she's on call all day that day so I could still have her. That would bring me 42 weeks and 1 day.. Not too far along right? =\

Well anyway there it is. I'm not scheduling another ultrasound as much as I want to see her again before she comes, one because I'm MAD about not getting mine still, even after THEY dicked me around in the first place, and because I'm not going to ask Monique to drive me all the way out there again or ask Mike's co worker to pick me up. SOMETIMES, it sucks not having a car. (Others, I'm thankful for that extra money we spend on food instead!!) And of course I have my next prenatal on Friday..
Anywho..

I hope things happen for you soon. that way you wont have to deal with an ultrasound. That would be awesome. but if you dont go into labor, i wish you the best.

I'm not even going to bother with rescheduling for one, it wasn't necessary anyway it was just because.. I'm bummed about it though

Heather you are a brave girl willing to wait 2+ weeks for induction!!!! You did always say you didn't want to be early. Well good luck...and I can't wait to hear from you1!!!
