It was a very boring appt overall. Peed in the cup, weighed, BP, and waited a long time.

I gain one pound for a three pound total gain. WooHoo! BP was great! Baby's HB was 154bpm on the doppler. Beautiful sound. We talked a bit about my headaches and migranes and she gave me some remedies, so i'm hoping at least one will work. *fingers crossed*

Biggest news from the appt was we scheduled the BIG ultrasound. July 28th!! Can't wait!

headaches are not fun when you have to deal with everything else in life and you can't hardly take anything. congrat about getting you u/s date you have something to look forward to now not that you aren't looking forward to your due date

Well they are not so much remedies, as just things I didn't know I could still do. Most of my headaches are from allergies, so the midwife said I could go back on my Claritan and use 'the good Sudafed' (the stuff behind the counter) if it gets real bad.

If I get a migrane, she told me to take 1000mg of Tylenol (acetemetiphen) and drink a 12oz can of soda or an 8oz coffee.

The Tylenol/caffiene combo works really well! I used to take Excedrine for my migranes, but she advises against the use of aspirin unless medically nessacery. HTH someone!
