We had our 22 week appointment today. We couldn't get in as early as we usually do and had to settle for the 9am appointment. It's so frustrating to sit in the waiting room for what seems like an eternity...then go to the exam room and wait even longer...for a 5 minute appointment!!
Anyway...little Tristan is doing fine...he is measuring a week bigger than his due date and his hb is around 142. She said he's growing and moving and his heart is good...so he's making great progress!!
I have been having a lot of back pain lately though and she told me to get a pregnancy support belt but one that supports the upper back...and all I've been able to find are the ones that support the lower back. Anybody know where to get the upper back ones??
We go back in a month for our check-up and some labs...ugh...including the blood glucose test that I've been dreading..then it's every two weeks for us after that...it doesn't seem like those every 2 week appointments should be that close...
glad to hear all is well with Tristan....I know what you mean about waiting forever....my last appointment I waited 45 minutes only to be seen all of 5 minutes....very frustrating!
Hope you can find something for your back....I'm sorry I don't know of anything...

Thank you to graciesmommie for the awesome siggy!!!
I definitely hear you on the waiting. Although I would think the morning would be BETTER than the evening. Last time my appt was at 4 and at 5 I finally asked how much longer. Then they rushed me through so I could get my labwork done before the lab closed at 5:30. I like my Dr office but I have to admit I was a bit annoyed.
I know how you feel about waiting in the waiting room and then in the exam room. Its always the worst but then the apt. goes so fast. Crazy.. glad everything is going good & i hope your back feels better very soon! keep us updated
Glad the appt went well and everything looks good. I havnt seen a supporter that helps the upper back either:-/ Sorry.
I am in the same boat...my next appt is for week 26 and we do the glucose tolerance screening that appt *dred* and
then every 2 weeks after that..crazy how fast this pregnancy is going!!
I am not looking forward to the every 2 weeks since I have to drive forever to get to them:-/
