anyone heard of this or tried it? Looks great but since I'll be doing my best to be a "baby-wise" parent - (parent directed feeding and scheduling, as opposed to attachment parenting) - I'm wondering if this could turn into a sleep "crutch"

thanks for any feedback!!

Never heard of this blanket, but i always wrap my kids up when they're small, i figured out a long time ago that when they're wrapped tight they feel more secure.

Ive heard of them..dont know anyone who has ever used them. I would try regular blankets before spending $30 on one miracle
blanket. can always use the other blankets for burp rags and such if they dont work for you.

Why does it remind me of a straightjacket? LOL I know babies like to be swaddled; I guess I haven't had much exposure to babies (and none to newborns). I can only think of my own claustrophobia and fear of being restrained like that. But I'm very tempted to order one. Of course, doesn't swaddling do the exact same thing this does, without the need to buy this specific product?

I agree with Christa, I would at least try the recieving blankets first. I never had a problem keeping my dd swaddled in regular receiving blankets and she was an incredibly active child - so active, in fact that my pediatrician gave us a video on how to handle active children LOL.
I think this looks a lot like those Swaddle Me blankets at BRU and other stores but more expensive. I do agree that newborns and infants love the swaddle but this is an expensive option. If I had no need to watch my money I would try it but unfortunately that is not the case for me.

Never even heard of them. I've never had a problem with regular blankets and just swaddling them.

I hadn't heard of them but the video must be good because I wanted to buy one! I did think it seemed kind of mean at first, but I suppose babies like being wrapped up. I'll probably try regular blankets first, but I suppose if you were having a harder time like those in the video it couldn't hurt to try the Miracle Blanket next. Good luck!

I use regular blankets. I don't think I need this product. To much money to use it for so little. I agree it reminds me of a straight jacket.

Thanks, maybe I"ll just register for the swaddle me one at BRU - I def don't have the extra $30 to drop on this right now....but it does look intriguing. But good old fashioned swaddling in a receiving blanket pry works just fine too....
thanks girls!

We used the Swaddle Me blankets from BRU and recieving blankets to swaddle. I haven't heard of this one, and while it may be great, we never had any issues using the swaddle mes or the receiving blankets with Lauryn.

Addison could not stand to be swaddled at all and would kick out of anything. Preston on the other hand would not sleep unless he was wrapped up tightly. We would swaddle him in a receiving blanket first then put him in the swaddle me and it worked great till he was about 4 months and could roll over. Then it wasnt as needed. I would skip the miracle blanket and go for the swaddlemes. They work great!!

I found the best thing for swaddling was the big waffle weave blankets from BRU. They have the perfect amt of stretch to make it nice and tight. Even if your baby doesn't end up like being swaddled they're still a great blanket just to use for whatever.

I bought one of these from that website(I think I paid around $30). It worked fine as a swaddler. My son was always hot and sweaty so we did not use it very much. After that I started seeing those everywhere just a different name brand and much cheaper. I think it is just the same as how they swaddle them up at the hospital with a receiving blanket it just has the little wings which make it easier to swaddle.

Is it just me or does it look like a plain old swaddle blanket?
