My ribs literally feel bruised from his movements, it worries me because I feel like theres so much time left and if it hurts this bad now then wow.. what about in a month or more? Is anyone else getting tons of rib pain from the baby moving? His feet are in my ribs constantly

Ugh yes! Those painful kicks can hurt like crazy.

As he gets a little bigger his kicks won't be able to be as rough. Also once he drops a bit they won't be as rough either.

I had those with my first - she ended up being tall and having big feet (never could wear those little booties that came with all the outfits). She's still tall and her feet at age 8 are a woman's 5. No wonder my ribs were sore!

YES! In fact I have a place in my upper back where DR said and a place right in the lower section of my chest it's probably a rib. It hurts SO bad. With mine it's there quite often, not just when the baby kicks...like everything's been pushed up and pushing into the rib...does that make sense. SO, I sympathize because it's QUITE uncomfortable!

Yep, I get get lots of those, although if I remember with Lauryn they slowed down the closer I got to the last month. Mostly do to the fact she didn't have the room to kick. I am hoping that happens again lol, although if this one lodges himself in my ribs like Lauryn did I will be eating those words. *hugs* I hope he gives mama a break!

OUCH! That would hurt! Hope it doesn't last long and he stops kicking you there. I never had that problem with my daughter or so far this time.. Guess it's because he has been head down since 20 weeks.

I've only been kicked in the ribs once thank goodness. He's mostly kicking me in the cervix which always makes me jump. Someone described it as an electric shock to the groin

^ I wouldn't be suprised if Raine breaks one of mine.

His foot was in my right side/ribs for what felt like forever yesterday and now I can't lean on that side and it feels super sore and bruised.

sigh

LOL, my 9 year old wears a 5.5 and she's almost as tall as me.

Anyway, I've been gettting some really painful blows, but not to my ribs. They're just where ever she wants to kick or punch me. Some of her rolls kind of hurt too.
