How do you find out about all these great deals? Do you print off coupons from a printable site, or cut out coupons from magazines, newspapers, etc.?
We should have a thread or something where you can update us (or anyone else who finds a great deal) on all the sales, etc. that are going on![/b]

There is a site-www.hotcouponworld.com that somehow gets preveiws of some stores ads. So sometimes I look ahead to see what is coming up. Lately I have just been looking at the ads as they come out though. I regularly look at the ads for 3 grocery stores here. Meijer is where I do the bulk of our food shopping, but I will stop at the other 2 (1 mile from us) if a deal is good enough.
I don't have much luck printing from coupon sites as my hubby has super security type stuff on our computers that prevent me from printing from there. I get most of my coupons from the newspaper-I get 1 copy delivered and my mom also gives me her coupons. If the coupons are particularly good I will buy more papers (I bought 2 extra copies yesterday). I also have a subscription to All YOu magazine (you can buy it at Walmart only). It contains a bunch of coupons each month. It costs 1.77-I save enough to always cover the cost as well as having some stuff to read. I also trade coupons with the moms on frugalmomsrock.com.
Every once in awhile I will buy coupons from Ebay. For instance, coupons came out for Beechnut cereal and jars of food. The cereal coupons were for $1 and the jar coupons were for $1.50 when you buy 8. Meijer has the best sale prices on these things: 8oz box of cereal went on sale for $1.40, so it came to 0.40 after the coupon (regular price is 1.56). The jars went on sale for $.40 each, with the coupon it came to .2125/jar (regular price on those are 0.51). The other day I bought 12 boxes of the cereal and 200 jars of the food. If I paid full price it would have been about $120, but by combining the sale with the coupons it was less than $50. So even though I don't NEED them right now, they will eventually get used! I try to do this with everything I buy.
I have certain prices that I am willing to spend and I won't buy something unless I can get it for that price. For instance, I won't spend more than $1/box of granola bars/fruit snacks/cereal bars, etc. I won't pay more than $1.50/box of cereal. I won't pay more than $1.99/lb of meat. Last year at this time I bought about 30 boxes of granola bars/cereal bars bc I got great deals on them, we're down to a few boxes now, so hopefully I can find some great deals again. My shopping is based on what is on sale, not what we will use that week-bc we already have enough stockpiled, I am just adding to it. We could probably go 1-2 months w/o buying anything except milk and fresh fruit if we needed to.
