Have you cut their hair at all or are you letting it grow out? My oldest (Emerald) hair is getting longer and I've trimmed it once in the back very lightly to make it even across but nothing other than that. It's starting to look stringy and it keeps falling in her eyes. I've used clips and have put pig tails and and pony tails in her hair which I love on her but I'm just curious as to how many of you are letting it grow like that or are cutting it to keep it neat and trimmed looking. If I cut it, I have no idea what style of cut would look good on a young toddler girl. I'm not crazy about bangs and hated having them when I was a child.

Any suggestions?

Brinlee is 3 and has never had her hair cut. It's past the middle of her bck. I love her hair and don't plan on cutting it anytime soon. Plus DH would kill me!! We part her hair on the side when it is down. We use clips, head bands, pony tails (high and low) and pig tails. Lately I've been braiding her pig tails, it's really cute!

I have not cut dd hair yet, and don't want to anytime soon. but some days she will not leave it fixed and then it hangs in her face so I have thought about getting her bangs cut-but in the next thought i just cant do it.

Eden gets her bangs cut because she won't let me pull hair up at all and I have had her hair trimmed once last Oct. Her hair is almost down to her waist and we don't plan on cutting it any time soon.

We cut DD's hair once just to even it out from when it fell out as a baby. She has really curly hair
We put it in pigtails on top of her head, or just one pony tail on top of her head (she has short hair because of the curls) or I will do this to it:

I cant wait for her hair to get longer!!

I get Marinah's hair trimmed every now and then to keep it from looking raggedy but only an inch at a time. She doesn't have bangs and all I do is get it angled on the sides, not a full style.

my girls did a very good job at cutting their own hair. of course Emelia did far better than Ryen...

this was the only way to fix it....

(on the left)

and this is where it is now. it's all over the place and there's nothing to do with it. so it just hangs there for now.

Emelia has a "cowlick" right in the front of her head there...haha! so it parts naturally and goes across her forehead like that...i don't ever have to do anything with her hair.

otherwise...we don't want to cut the girls hair. we'd rather it be nice and long.

Brookes has been trimmed, it is very curly so we trimmed the ends twice so they dont get stringy, i love putting her hair in ponys...with the curls its not very long, it sits right at her shoulders

We only cut Melanie's hair when it gets unmanageable, she has hair like mine that damages really easy. Other than that, we've cut it once when DS took scissors to her hair, and we went to this great kids place who also did this really cute style where she had a braid running from one ear to the other. I hate bangs on her, but DH had them give her bangs and she loves them.

with mackenzee, she has really thick and long hair and won't let me do anything with it. its hard to get it up in a ponytail and she won't keep clips or barretts in it. i trim her bangs and have only trimmed the ends of her hair once and it was hardly anything off. df would shoot me if i cut her hair, even though i'm the one that has to fight with it.
