My boy is such a giant! He's 8 weeks 1 day today and weighs 14 pounds 6 ounces (95th percentile) and is 23 1/2" long (75th percentile). His head is 16 1/2" (90th percentile). His chest is 16".

The doctor commented several times at how well he holds his head up and stares right into your eyes. He's developing and growing perfectly so far.

He got the HiB vaccine. He had fallen asleep just before the nurse came in so she said for me to hold him while she did it. She would have let me nurse him during it if he was awake. He never opened his eyes and just let out the cry that he does when Fritz is annoying him lol His thigh seems a little sore, but otherwise he doesn't seem to have any issues with it so far. Prevnar is next whenever we're ready for him to have it.

I really love our pediatrician. He is totally fine with us doing one shot at a time with Adrian (and none at all yet for our 2 year old). Ani also had to see him because he froze off three of her warts 6 weeks ago and she was supposed to get more done today. Ani, however, had decided that she was not going to have any more done because it was so painful for her. Since warts are not dangerous, just annoying, I figured she's old enough to make that decision. The doctor agreed and said it is good to let her make decisions like that since we need to respect her thoughts and opinions. He checked the ones he had frozen off and then gave us some OTC ideas that we haven't already tried that may help get rid of them.

He goes back at 3 1/2 months on Cameron's birthday. Another joint appointment, this time with his oldest brother (for his 7 year check-up).

Sounds like a great appt! Way to grow Adrian!! He is such a cutie!!! I'm glad he did well with the shot. It sounds like you have an awesome ped! It's great that he listens to you and the kids. That's very rare in medicine today. I hope the OTC treatments work for Ani.

What a growing boy! Momma must make good milk!!!!

Have you tried Duct tape for the warts? You put it over the wart and when it starts to get loose, replace it. It is supposed to prevent the wart from growing and it should disappear.

I had one wart removed several times on my foot-I remember the pain!

Yea sounds like a great appt!! That's great that you let Ani make decisions for herself--I used an OTC and it worked for a wart I had years ago-Good luck!!

What a cutie! He is a big boy. His stats are almost opposite of Natalie's. She's in the 95%tile for length and 75%tile for weight.
