Tomorrow afternoon I have a doctors appointment. I am a bit worried though. I have not mentioned it too much here but for the last two weeks I have been having braxton hicks all day long and been in a lot of pain. I have not been able to sleep in increments of more than 30 minutes at a time and every movement puts me almost into tears. I am so scared that tomorrow they will either do a check and find that I am at risk for premature delivery or just put me on mandatory bed rest to prevent this. I can not go on bed rest right now ( as much as I would honestly like too) because I have my father and daughter to take care of, not to mention my husband and my house. I am so scared of bad news tomorrow though.

Is anyone else experiencing braxton hicks all day long no matter how much you try to relax and hydrate yourself?

Another concern I have is I have found two moles that have developed during this pregnancy that I am going to ask to have checked out. They are rapidly growing and seem to be a different color every day. I sure hope nothing is wrong in that area as well.

I will try to update tomorrow after my appointment.

I have BHs often and they are painful (but not excruciating, and nothing like real contractions.)

I find that after I get adjusted by the chiropractor I am much more comfortable, have less BHs, and even have more energy. It might be something to look into for yourself.

I hope everything turns out fine. Your doc will probably want to do a NST, and he may want to monitor you for a bit to see if you are having real contractions.

I hope you get some good news tomorrow!

I am sorry for your discomfort. I hope that all goes well at your appt. My thoughts and prayers go out to you that you have a successful stress free appt. The only thing I can say is if you are bed rest you can still help out. Just not as much...you are normally told to stay off of your feet as much as possible. I hope that is NOT what they tell you though, and I hope everything is okay. **HUGS**

I have had a lot too... perhaps not that many, but a lot, doc said he wasn't worried, but I need to rest etc. etc. hopefully he'll just encourage more rest and see if it helps. I hope that you don't get put on bedrest, and they ease up a little.

I understand the stress/worry you are going through. It took me a while but I am finally ok with going on bedrest. I also worried about taking care of my husband, my house, preparing the nursery, work, etc but at this point I am ok with going on bed rest if it means my little ones will have less complications once they are delivered. I really want to bring the babies home within days of being born and that is more important to me then having everything ready or dealing with work. Good luck with your appointment. Let us know how it goes.

I have them often, but not as often as you describe. It will definetly be for the best if you get put on bedrest, for your baby. When we thought they were going to do that with me, I was worried about the same thing, but its amazing how many people will offer to help, people that you would never expect it from. KUP!

I hope everything went okay!!!

As far as the moles go. I have a couple that have changed pigmentation and my OB says that can be normal in pregnancy. I guess pigmentation in certain places can change or appear out of nowhere, then should go away after delivery. He also said skin tags can appear or get larger!

Let us know how everything went when you can!

I have BH but not everyday. Well at least i don't 'realise' them everyday although i think it is normal to have them constantly after a particular week. Don't remember which. Some days i get them more often and they are continious and somewhat dicomforting but not really painful. Like i want to support my belly or something Drinking plenty of water and resting helps me most of the times. They come closer together when i am anxious, tired or pressed about something. Are you sure your psychology is not asssisting this?? Perhaps someone else can help with the family members? So you can rest and relax a bit more? I hope the appointment goes well and that u will not be put on bed rest.

Prayers for you and your little one.

Any update on your appointment from today? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you won't have to go on bedrest!
