Did you find that it was really necessary to have special nursing pajamas? Or is it just as easy to pull up the top on pajamas you already had? I was looking at some nursing nightgowns today, but I didn't buy any because I didn't know if I really needed it. I usually wear pajama pants/shorts and a tank top to bed and I figure it wouldn't be a big deal to just pull my shirt up when it's time to nurse during the night. Am I right?

When I nursed LOgan i just wore alot of pjs that had button down tops since it was winter with him too it really wasnt hard to do or like you sid reg tops its easy to pull em off plus you have your nurseing bra on anyways so you can do that without your other boob being out for show..... I wouldnt waste your money on speacial pjs for nurseing.....

Regular PJ's work just fine! Half the time I just sat around in my bra anyway... but DD was born in August. So it was hot!

I never used nursing PJs. When I needed support, I wore a sleep nursing bra and a tshirt, or just the bra itself and pants. I now wear tanktops with built-in bras and pull the strap down to nurse DD, which is easier than pulling it up. Medela and Motherhood make a sleep bra, which I would reccomend for support, if you need it, for nighttime nursing. It's also good during the day though, when you're not leaving the house. Like Lindsay, I would sit around in my bra all day some days

i just wore regular pj's. i do have a pair of nursing pj's. i didn't like wearing tank tops with the bra in them they seem to cut off the milk and make me have lumps in my breast and they hurt. just don't wear anything binding to your breast.

Nope
I had a few pairs and didn't really need them. I wore them .. but I had no problems wearing tops that either buttoned up or that were lower cut.

I don't think they are a necessity.
