Well for a little over a week now I have been unable to walk properly get up from the bed or couch unassisted, pick up my daughter or even stand long enough to prepare a small meal. The last few days my legs have also been going numb from the pain. I have been having a lot of pain in my lower back as well as my pelvic area (to describe specifically think of where you would grow hair).

Well this morning after another sleepless night and being unable to get out of bed alone followed by almost falling down the stairs my husband forces me to cal my doctor. I had avoided it this whole time knowing that I have pre existing back troubles and just assuming that because I could not take my medication because of the baby there was nothing else I could do. I figured I would discuss it at my appointment on Thursday. Well after talking to my doctor and describing all the pain she let me know that I can take extra strength tylenol as opposed to just regular strength as I had been taking and shes going to call in a better pain prescription for me tomorrow. She seems to think that the baby is sitting on my sciatic nerve. She also suggested that I use a heating pad and try walking more even though its painful. Anything I can do to try and get the baby to move she says to try ( so any suggestions would be appreciated). She is going to call me tomorrow and says out of concern she may have me come in tomorrow as opposed to waiting until Thursday. I will have to keep you posted.

Until then send me all the wishes you can to move baby move

Ugh I'm so sorry! I hope she gets you in tomorrow. The only suggestions I have for trying to get him to move are probably ones you've tried. I'd drink some juice or eat a snack, then try laying on one side for a bit. If that doesn't work, switch sides. I've been doing this when I've not felt Jayden move for a bit, it usually gets him going.

I hope you get some relief soon!!

I'm sorry to hear you're hurting like that! I will say that the heating pad and walking have helped my hips and back. I never want to move most days but I do usually feel relief for a while after I take the dogs for a walk. And I sit with the heating pad for an hour or so 2-3 times a day, it feels really good. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I'm having lots of aches and pains too. I try to rest with my feet up and a heating pad on the affected area and if that doesn't work I take Tylenol.

To make the baby move I've heard that laying on your side for a while does the trick.

Good luck, hope you feel better soon!

Are you able to feel him and know which body part is which? Some mommies on here say they can. I just wonder if you could gently nudge him?? Maybe try that?
