^Ooo! What a great day you had!^ I forgot to mention that when you are counting calories, make sure you are getting AT LEAST 1200 calories. Any less than that and your body goes into "starvation mode" and starts storing all the fat that you eat.

Breakfast
Coffee with creamer- 40 calories

Snack
Starbucks grande non fat carmel macchiato- 190 calories

Lunch
Bagel sandwich with ham, cheese, and an egg- 344 calories

Dinner
Baked potato with broccoli, cheese, and a dab of sour cream- 289 calories

PB and J sandwich- 334 calories

Total: 1496 calories

I couldn't add my calories up yesterday because I had the same thing for lunch and dinner which was some sort of egg casserole thing, and I don't have the slightest clue how many calories it had in it. Probably a lot though because it was really cheesy. Maryann, isn't it ridiculous how many calories are in a tortilla and cheese? Grrr.... I LOVE tortillas and cheese! You're doing so good though! You eat a lot of veggies! That's awesome. I need to take some lessons.

Am I the only one who gets real hungry going through and reading what everyone else is eating??? LOL

Breakfast
coffee

Lunch
1/2 pack of Ramen noodles

Lunch again
Speghettios

Dinner
beef stew
cornbread

Snack
beer

Im really bad about having my daily beer. I didnt really eat much today because I have a horrible cold/allergies going on. I have had NO voice for 3 days. Do you know how hard it is to watch a 5yr old 1 yr old and 3 month old with no voice...??? Everytime I tell the 1 yr old no he just looks at me and laughs because nothing comes out.

Anyways I have to get back to exercising as soon as I get to feeling better.

^Could you switch to Light Beer instead?^ I know like NOTHING about beer or the taste or how many calories it has at all. I won't touch the stuff because of the smell. Just a thought though. I do get hungry reading these menus sometimes. Especially reading about Maryann's daily ham sandwich. Yum!!! Although Sarah you made it easy on me today. Spaghettios??? Yuck!

9/25

Breakfast
Coffee with creamer

Lunch
Grilled cheese sandwich with one slice of ham

Dinner
Noodle Express something or other... I'll have to look up what it was...

Snack
Waffle with syrup and peanut butter on it. Syrup- the WORST thing you could eat when counting calories.

1353 calories

I'm getting really discouraged here. I got up this morning and felt lighter (you know that feeling?) and wanted to weigh myself because I thought for sure I would have to be down at least a pound. Nope. I was up 1 pound 7 ounces. What the heck? I don't understand? Before I started this I was eating soooooo much. For sure it had to be between 3000 - 4000 calories a day. But I never gained any weight. And now that I'm eating well I'm not losing. I don't understand whats going on. I'm getting real frustrated and wanting to just quit and go back to eating like a pig again.

I don't know how many calories today, but this is what I had..

Breakfast
Oatmeal
Iced coffee

Lunch
Salad with left over shredded chicken, raisins, carrots, radishes and light honey mustard dressing

Snack
Peach

Dinner
Chicken stew with carrots, celery and potato

Snack
90 calorie chocolate chip granola bar

No no! Don't give up! You're gonna lose it just fine. Sometimes our bodies just do that. I don't know if it's water retention or what, but it's happened to me a lot. Try drinking like A TON of water for a couple days and see how it goes. Maryann you're doing great... far better than me most of the time with watching what you're eating. You'll probably be the one that doesn't lose it and then all of the sudden it's like, 5 pounds just gone.

Dont quit Maryann!! I heard it could be hard to lose weight after a baby because the hormones arent all gone and it makes weight stay on. I agree with Jess. All of a sudden you are going to wake up and be 5 pounds lighter or more. Hang in there. You are eating waayyy better than me.

Dh and I are doing a NO eating out challenge for the month of October to save money and lose weight!! (the only exception is one dollar kids meal night at mcdonalds so I will get my Mcdonalds fix).

Keep it up ladies. You are my inspiration!!!!!!!

Alright Maryann, we're back on! I haven't been able to get on JM because of the hacker thing and yesterday was just one of those days where nothing gets done. I did weigh myself though and I was up a pound and a half. 138.

Ok I havent lost anymore weight but I was able to fit back into my black pants that I wore pre preggo. I couldnt wear them last month so Im wondering if my hips are still trying to move back together. I remember it took me about a year after Brynn was born to feel back to "normal".

So... I guess Im postponing the weight loss for now. Im sorry for being a flake. But I can still be your
