Well, the So cal ZFires have hit our family VERY hard. My BIL lives in Corona with his fiance and her 2 girls. They had to evacuate today and they headed for us. The girls are freaked because of how close they were to the fires. My MIL is in Brea, and she had to be evacuated as well (I think hers was voluntary though). My other BIL is in Yorba Linda and evacuated to us with his fiancee. And finally, my other BIL, his wife, and their 3 kids liv e in Anaheim Hills and came to our house as well. We currently have 8 kids in the house, 12 adults. We are the only one in the family not evacuated, though the fires are in 2 bordering cities.

We've buttoned down the house, and are making places for everyone to sleep tonight. We're putting all the kids in the living room so the adults get the bedrooms, and my MIL will be staying in the living room as well. her husband stayed at her house (which is fine, he's not welcome here). But we are all safe and fine. i won't be online because my sis fried my computer and I have too many people in my house to even think about computers...

I have a friend out there too and she said she's in the middle of two different fires around her house but that they are currently okay. She said the smoke is what's killing them right now.

I feel ya! Im In Corona and am about 15 mins away. We havent been evacuated but the complex we almost moved into burnt down....It's off the 91 and yorba linda Blvd. CRAZY!!! I have pics I need to post. Luckily I wasn't in town today and I was about an hour away so the pics are a little far....

Family homes made it! Fire 100% contained but the smoke has killed my lungs. I have major asthma, and will be going to the hospital as soon as DH gets off work because I just can't breathe well and am coughing too much.

Melanie and Doc are doing great and this was a lesson to Doc in not playing with fire (a problem we've already had with him) and Joey has a minor cough but its going away. I took him in today and the doctor says he's fine.
