If I make it a few weeks ahead of time, then I store in airtight containers (or ziploc freezer bags if I run out) and then put them in the freezer. If I am going to bake them within a week, then I have left it in the fridge in the same type of containers. Not sure how long you are "supposed" to leave dough with eggs in it in the fridge, but I often have chocolate chip cookie dough in there for 1-2 weeks when I make up a batch and have never had a problem with doing that.
