Is there something special that you do or you have heard about? I would love to hear them. Maybe we can all pick up a few things from each other.


I love the idea of using a glass cyclinder style large candle holder to put ornaments in. Then you can tie a ribbon around it. *Not sure if that makes sense but I have seen it done and it looks great*

I need some ideas, too!! I've got tons & tons & tons of snowmen decorations, but I'm sort of burned out on them. I really like the glass cylinder & ornament idea! I've seen it done too, and it looks really good. I might have to try it! And the good thing about the cylinders is they can be used all year round!

I love Christmas lights so I put them around the door ways and windows and up the stair banister every year. I usually put garland over the lights too.

I wrapped the pictures on the walls last year. It looked awesome, but it took WAY too much time to do.

I think I am going to do the garland up my banister as well. I bought a lot of stuff last year but I want to do something creative myself.

I don't have any ideas to help with decorating. Just hoping to get some from you all!! This is our first christmas actually staying home and getting to decorate for christmas. The last three years we were always out of state the two weeks before christmas and the week after visiting family so it never made since to decorate. i can't wait to start this year!!
