OMG....there is this new song by Darius Rucker, lead singer from Hootie & the Blow Fish, called "It won't be like this for long". The first time I heard it I cried like a baby and I cry every time I hear it. It's basically about bringing a baby home and being overwhelmed and then realizing that it won't be like that for long and you'll be looking back and missing all the moments when they were small because they are going to grow up! It's just such a sweet song!

We received a cd as a gift before Paddy was born called Celtic Dreamland, and there's a Scottish folk song that I fell in love with on it called "Dream Angus". The singer who performs it has a lovely voice, and I just foung the lyrics online this morning:

How funny... i think of my children everytime i hear that song Dodie! It's so true, as it seems like just yesterday we brought Kennedy home and she's becoming such a big girl! This phase is such a short time in our lives....can't do anything other than cherish it!!
