I've been getting my butt whooped big time over on the Mommy Weightloss and Fitness board....we have an "All Things Healthy" subforum, and I think it's been sorely neglected for some time. Would anybody be interested in getting back into the swing of things with me? Weekly challenges, weigh ins, etc?
I'll try my best to stay on top of it, but I'll need some help. Between cohosting here, Fertility Charting, attempting to NOT be the Slug of the Week on MWAF, and school, not to mention Miss Parker, I'm a bit swamped.
I just wanted to wish you luck, you got alot on your plate mama!! You can do it!!!! Id participate but since cutting out dairy I need to gain at least 20lbs

Ah, I feel so blah! I still need to lose ~15 pounds to get to prepregnancy weight and another ~25 to get where I want to be. I'm thoroughly convinced that it won't happen until I stop BF and go back on the regular pill though (that's how it was last time). Cold weather and being cooped up inside doesn't help either. I want to get a treadmill so I can run during the kids' naps rather than having to wait until they go home to go to the clubhouse, but I need to save up for it.
I need to lose 15 pounds to get to pre-pregnancy weight and then another 5 on top of that to get where I want to be. I absolutely suck at dieting, I just don't have the willpower. I started running on the treadmill today, and I'm going to try my hardest to do it everyday, if not every-other day.

Well, if it helps I don't think of my eating changes as dieting....because that's an automatic fail for me. I started with the exercise first, and implement healthy eating wherever I can. Does that make sense?
Maybe we can just have an encouragement and a pat on the back type thing going on in the subforum. I could use all the help I can get!
I went to work out 3 times last week on M-T-W, but nothing since then. I still want to get the house cleaned up tonight, so I doubt I will be going today either.
I actually started my weightloss plan on the 1st..I need to lose 30lbs to get back to prepregnancy and an additional 10 to be where I wanna be. So thats a 40lb loss goal. Im totally in Sarah! I have already lost inches and like 3lbs. I'll definately be able to help you keep the board flowing! I agree, I dont really see it as a diet but as a healthy lifestyle change. And my eating has totally changed in quality and quantity since starting.
i've gotten down to my pre-pregnancy weight but i wasn't happy with where i was before that so i would like to work on it. 20lbs by Isaac's first birthday is a good goal! i've been working on eating healthier...i have a tendency to go to dangerous extremes so i really just want to stay healthy, get active. not focus so much on the weight but just feeling good. i'll join in for some encouragement, definitely!
I ran 1/2 mile & walked 1/2 mile. I'm hoping to get up to running a full mile, maybe more. Back in the spring & summer of 2007, DH & I were running a lot to lose weight for my cousins wedding. I was able to run over a mile (without stopping) and ended up losing quite a bit of weight, and also toned up. I decided it wouldn't be best to try that now since this was my first time on the treadmill since August.

Im all over it!! Starting Feb 1st that is. I'd love to lose weight right now but Im in a wedding in 2 weeks so I have to stay where im at. I do have 15 pre=pregnancy pounds to lose and a little more if i can help it. Im gonna stat my Weight Watchers again in a few weeks!!
I actually woke up early before Sydnie and did my Barry's boot camp CD for the 1st time this morning! I felt quite proud of myself LOL. It's just geting up and doing it that is hard but once i get going I am ok. I gained about 5-7lbs over the holidays...so I would like to lose about 15lbs.

I am in....I have about 15-20lbs I would like to lose before May30th...thats my wedding day...so i guess technically I need to lose it by May15th lol I did walk on my treadmill today.....I was going to run, but just a brisk walk for 15 minutes had me out of breath.....very sad for someone who has ran marathons and was on the army's marathon team...ummm yeah I feel like a fatty today....

Kris, you should check craigslist.org in your local area and see if you can find one cheap on there, I got one for 50

Okay, Count me in. I mainly just need to loose in the mid section. I looked at my belly pics the other day. I looked the same this christmas as I did last christmas!
