We just finished nursing and Linden was sitting on his boppy. All of a sudden I hear him go to the bathroom, and I'm like okay...5 minutes later myshirt is soaked, my pants are soaked and my hand is wet.... He pooped waay out of his diaper. A bunch of his sleepers have breastfed poop stains, just yellow..it's not that big of a deal to me, i wash it and it's clean it's just stained. But this onesie, is stained like A HUUUGE stain! I quickly rinsed it off with hot water, now normally with period blood once I rinse it off it starts to fade....this didn't.... What should I do? What do I wash it with?? (Also good to know with diapers because I don't want them all stained!)

I just bought oxyclean for that purpose lol. Is it cloth or sposies he is blowing out of? If it's sposies maybe it's time to go size up? We had that with Penni and once we upsized it's been about 3 weeks and no blow outs (she's never blown out of a cloth diaper lol)

it's the first time tho...oooh size 2! lol but he's only 10 lbs!

Cold water and any stain fighter should work. Just be sure to wash it in his regular detergeant afterwards and use a cold wash. And I agree with pp to try the next size up diaper. Sometimes that helps a little, but sometimes they still blow through them! lol

My babies always blew out of sposies. Very few explosions with cloth. I second the cold water part, and I use shout stain treater, but I think any will work.

I just did cold water and dish soap. Scrubbed the fabric against itself until the stain was gone ... maybe 5 mins. Then laundered it a few days later. LOL yea ... Aiyana decided she had to go through 4 sleepers, my t-shirt, her crib sheet, and her changing pad in all of 2 days.

Nah, it's the amount of poop, all at once. We had one this past weekend, and when I sat her down is when it travelled up her back and out the diaper.
That's what I love about cloth diapers, we've yet to have a blowout in one!

ALWAYS use COLD water for messes like that...hot water will make the stain set. I use Spray 'N Wash...and then wash it in cold water right away, it usually works, but sometimes it doesn't. I know Kate has had a blow out like that before when I'm about to change a pee diaper and then poops...'cause the diaper is already full the poop can't be absorbed...could that have maybe happened?

I don't use my changing table anymore. I just change her in her crib with a changing mat under her.

'sposies seem to not absorb but cloth does so its not as hug of a mess. I've had some great blow outs from Damien.... that continued when he got changed on the table. It just kept comming and coming, lol!
