My poor girl! She has been to the doctor every week of her life so far between the umbilical granuloma, well baby checks, and now RSV. She had a cough for a few days while we were on our trip, but nothing too bad. When we got home it got a lot worse, and it looked like it was harder to breathe. Then I found out that she had been exposed to RSV before we left on our trip from a little neighbor boy who had it. Luckily she already had a well baby scheduled for yesterday morning. When I was getting her ready to go she started coughing so hard! She started choking and stopped breathing. I was so scared! I kept hitting her back but she just wouldn't breathe. I was about to call 911, but she threw up and the mucous she was choking on came out. It was so scary. Her little face just looked so scared. So the doctor said it was RSV and we started her on breathing treatments at home, which she really does not like. So she's ok, but still coughing a lot and just not feeling good. She's such a good baby though, it's really not too hard taking care of her when she's sick. She even has some smiles and she just sleeps a lot. Just pray that she gets better soon!
