Hello ladies. I decided I wanted to get a double jogging stroller. Not necessarily to jog but just to get out and walk and take my kids over to the park in our neighborhood. I didn't want to spend a fortune so I ended up getting one off our local classifieds for $75.00. It is an older model Baby Trend Expedition. It is supposed to be navy blue, but I got it home and it is more of a bluish purple with splotches of white because of some fading. I am kinda disappointed about the color---my hubby doesn't care. I mean what can I expect for a used stroller? Anyways, I was wondering how I should go about cleaning it since the fabric doesn't come off the frame? I don't want to put my kids in it without somehow washing it with some soap.....

Also, out of curiosity would you care about the fading/color of a used stroller? I don't know why it's bugging me sooo much. It's not like its our everyday/everywhere stroller. It's just what we would use in the neighborhood or the zoo.

I know the newer models of this stroller are getting pretty good reviews. I can't seem to find an older model with the reviews---darn. Anyone know anything about these strollers?

I would try scrubbing it in the sun on a hot day. That's what I'm going to do with Ben's old playpen. It REEKED when I pulled it out of the case for Daniel.

Yeah I was thinking like a car wash. Stiff brush and sopy water outside with a hose?

Thanks ladies. Since I bought it I couldn't stop thinking about how BAD the fading and color was bugging me. So I put it back on the free local classifieds and I actually made a $15 profit. . I feel bad because I feel like I am being too picky. However, if I am going to spend $75 I want it to be something I am happy with ya know...
