So Aliana has reflux and spits up all the time. Using Enfamil AR it is much better but still there. She was doing great on it. Well now she is teething and teething bad. She has so much drool coming out that she is spitting up too. So those of you that have babies that frequently spit up, does teething make it worse? Or should I thicken her formula more? Any advice?

Anjuli had really bad reflux, teething drool had her kind of choking on all the drool so we got more spit. She didn't start the awful drooling until about 5 monthes though and she was eating well (as well as she ever has anyway) so she held some down. If she is about 4 monthes try sitting her up more and try some cereal.

She definitely keeps it down but not as much as she did before. She also eats cereal twice a day and she still spits up after the cereal if she is teething really bad and has her hands in her mouth like crazy.

Jakob has reflux and he is choking on all the drool constantly. He still spits up about an hour after eating. I have noticed him choking alot more than he had been now that he is teething.

If she is choking after she sticks her hand in her mouth, kinda look and see if she is opening her fingers in her mouth. I know sometimes Leila gets one finger straightened out and gags herself. Nothing you can really do about it if that is what it is. Does he take a pacifier? I know some people really don't like to use them but they do help with reflux, the suck in the mouth keeps the food down longer without filling the tummy up anymore.
