THis is a spinoff of Ginni's food thread.

If you are stranded on an island and can only bring 3 foods with you what would you bring? (assuming there is water on the island)

My 3 are bread, cheese and red wine.

If we're talking stupid stuff... cake, ice cream, and cookies.

If we're talking real stuff... vegetable seeds, fruit seeds, and a cow. I can get water and salt from the ocean, milk from the cow, protein from seafood (which I HATE, but would eat if I were dying), and vitamins from the fruits and veggies the following year. The first year, I'd have to eat whatever native vegetation was available, and I'd hate that I picked milk over yeast, because I'd have to eat flat breads all the time. Oh well. Besides, if the cow gets on my nerves or eats my fruit/veggie plants, I can always have hamburgers!
