I know they say that BCPs aren't supposed to make you gain weight, but I don't believe it.
I haven't necessarily gained, but I haven't lost either. Not since Cade was about 6 months old... and I work out, I eat healthy... but I was STARVING all the time... so I was snacking & eating when I shouldn't have been...
I've been off the pill for about 2 weeks and I just don't have the appetite I had.
So HOPEFULLY I'll start seeing some pounds come off the scale.
hmmmm, who told you they dont make you gain weight.
i was on a BCP when i was 15 and i gained about 20lbs...i was 160 when i was a sophmore- and that was while i was doing cheerleading 6 days a week. But now i dont do anything all day, and i weigh 135, i blame the BCP for making me fat in highschool. Plus when i went off them at 16 ( i was regulating periods at the time) i lost about 15 lbs. and stayed at about 145 for a while.
When i got back on bcp when i was 19- for sexy reasons lol, i asked for a bcp that didnt make me gain weight and she gave me Yazmin. i never gained any weight with that stuff.
I think i was on ortho triciclin or something like that when i was 15, i hated that stuff.
In any case. Im glad you are enjoying being off them. Hopefully you will see the results you want now!
Yeah, I've been on yasmin before and it didn't make me gain then...
Maybe different kinds do... I'd always heard that people LOST weight on Loestrin, LOLOL. Not in my case. I was getting frustrated though and now I feel like I have found the reason for my weight loss standstill.
I gained weight on tricycyle too and some of the other options my Dr suggested she specifically said women gained on average 2lbs a year, which to me said that some probably didn't gain any while some gained a bunch.
I hope. I'm hating 155. I'm sick of it. I'm just stuck. It's frustrating.
Tell me about it. I know exactly how you feel about that exact number!! I hope it comes off for you now! I think I finally have my hormones where they are supposed to be so perhaps we can both say good-bye to the 150s!
