Horrible.

There is a video that they used to play here on one of the MBC channels and it was a little boy in a parking garage and the mother drove off without him and he is crying wanting her to come back.....and the point of the ad is that some children dont have parents to come back. Really i think these ads are hideous.

Do we want a child to be upset for even a moment - no, but if catching a single moment will stop someone from putting a child in pain for a lifetime then it is worth it. This little one was only scared for a brief second - something I am sure we have all seen at the local mall. At the local mall we see the child reunited and suddenly happy again and we go on our way - the child isn't harmed and probably wouldn't even remember the incident. I have two children in my class this year who have lost parents to cancer. I have seen them cry often because their parents are not here to go on field trips with them, attend soccer games, and see them enter the science fair. I have three other kids who have asthma problems (and yes all come from homes were both mom and dad are smoking). I have seen them cry when they can't keep up with their friends. Unfortunately it takes the in-your-face style of ad to get the point across - so if this ad helps one child, then it was worth it.
