Anyone have it? What do you think? Does it give you ideas for things that help your LO? (fine motor skills, development, ect)

I'm hoping to just rent it from the library if whoever has it will ever turn it in! I don't want to buy it considering she's almost 7 months so most of the book wouldn't even apply to us.

I mentioned Parents as Teachers in another post and it got me thinking again about how much it ticks me off that PAT isn't in my county. Your not allowed to go to a different county either Ticks me off. It's a great program and I hate that I have to miss out on it. I did look on their website and they do send our eNewsletters, so at least I can get that.

Heres a website if anyones interested:

I have the book, but I haven't really had much time to read it since Ethan has gotten here. I really like the book Baby 411. It has been a great reference tool.

I'd skip it at this point. A lot of the info is outdated (unless they've come out with a new revision) and like you said you are over halfway through the first year. The only thing I ever really checked it for was the milestones but you can check those on the internet. If you're looking for ways to help develop Emily's mind you can find lots of other books on that subject that would be much better anyway.

Yeah thats pretty much what I'm looking for. Activities, games, etc. I believe it's never too young to get a jump start on learning
