So who has the touch in your house?

I gave up on Emily putting herself to sleep in her crib. Every once and awhile during story time (she lays in her bed) she'll fall to sleep but mostly I have to rock her. But Emily always go to sleep better for my mom I don't know why either, she doesn't do anything different that me. I say my mom must be more comfy than me. I have huge boobs so I'm probably really "lumpy" to lay on

Definitely me. DH works from home and often has deadlines to meet so nights often involve me getting Jenna down for bed. She's definitely a mama's girl.

He use to go to sleep way better for me. I would let DH try to put him to sleep but after a while, I would get sick of hearing him fuss and just take him and I would have him asleep in a few minutes. Lately though this last month, we refuses to be rocked to sleep, no matter how tired he is. We just have to put him down in his crib when we can tell he is tired and he falls asleep on his own within minutes or just sits in there and talks himself to sleep. He never cries when we put him down if he is tired. I miss my little cuddle bug though and I wish he would still let me rock him to sleep.

Ryan never puts Aiden to sleep, but he will go in and give him a little pat if he is fussing.

Zoe is pretty much the same way. We feed her her evening bottle and usually she'll get drowsy with that and we lay her down and she's asleep within minutes. If she doesn't fall asleep on the bottle, she starts fussing if we try to rock her to sleep, she does better if we just lay her in her crib with her paci. I miss the cuddles too....part of growing up, I suppose.

She goes down just as easily for both DH and myself.

Emily goes down the same for both of us. I nurse her about 15 minutes before we put her in bed, then swaddle her and just lay her in her crib with her seahorse soother. Usually she goes right to sleep without fuss, sometimes though she cries for about 5 minutes then goes to sleep.
