Hi. I saw these in either Parents Magazine or babytalk magazine several months ago, and now I can't find them online anywhere. They are covers that go on each individual slat of the crib. They are fabric with velcro closure. It looked like a really awesome alternative to using the bumpers. Has anyone seen anything like this?
I haven't seen them....but thought I'd add that after all the hype about bumpers increasing the risk of sids and how they're purpose is actually to keep you baby from falling through rather that to keep them from bumping their head...we decided to go without the bumpers and haven't had any problems. Tristan has never bumped his head or gotten "stuck" between slats. I just think if you do find them you might want to research them a little bit and make sure thy're woth the money before spending to much on them!!
I didn't use the bumper at 1st but a couple of wks ago, Landen was waking up every morning around 3 am because he had some body part stuck in between the slats. After about a wk of waking up early because of this, I decided to put the bumpers on and from then on, we were no longer waking up at night from being stuck. I think by this age, they are fine
