I venture to say that the definition of parent should read n.person who is of a creative spirit As I turned a washrag into a "puppet" that "kissed" the girls clean so I didn't have to hear them scream, I wondered what creative things others have done, so lets hear your most creative parenting adventure!

I do the same thing when cleaning Isabel up from a meal. She hates getting washed off, but if I make it a game she'll tolerate it and even laugh!

I used to put green beans and carrots on Brinlee's grilled cheese sandwich to get her to eat her veggies. She didn't notice they were in there for MONTHS!

We make it a race to see who can pick up the most toys in a minute at the end of the day. Brinlee will have her "basket" and I'll have mine... and it's a race. Good way to get her to want to clean up!

Hummmmm. I have to sing a silly song to wash and dry Megans hair or she will keep pushing me away.

Love the veggies in the grilled cheese idea! I actually have a cook book of how to hide veggies in foods kids like. The author says to keep offering veggies the traditional way, but with the hidden veggies you don't have to worry about whether or not the kids eat the traditional veggies

I also sing to the girls while they're in the bath, but we do it just for fun, we're lucky enough they don't fight washing too much - when they're in the bath anyway, the high chair is a different story!

Dalton (like a lot of boys I've heard of) hates to sit still for his diaper change, so we sing songs and sometimes his diaper even sings to him LOL
