Sydnie has been signing and saying a few words for quite a while now but it seems that in the last week even she has picked up an entire vocabulary! she says:
hi, bye bye, dog, nana, mama, daddy, go, walk, row row row (singing row row row your boat) book, milk, max (our dog), yum yum, bum bum (what I call her bottom) poop, baby. There are so many more I just can't think of them all!
I think it's awesome, it's just hard to believe she is actually able to communicate effectively with us! What happened to my baby!

Adrian talks quite a bit which is surprising to us since his toddler brother never shuts up and Fritz often talks for Adrian. Usually younger siblings in that sort of situation talk late. Adrian has quite a few words and occasionally really surprises up with stringing them together like last night when he said "want more cookie!"

Scarlett still says nothing but Mama...but she "talks" constantly...she walks around babbling to herself, to us, to her toys...it's really cute. I can't wait till she can say some real words!

Aaden's saying"mama" & "dada/daddy". In the last few weeks he's started saying something that sounds like "who/what's that" when he points to a picture or something else on the wall, floor, etc. He does babble a lot, too.

Megan's got the word "No" down. LOL, everytime I "ask" her a question, the answer is no.
She also says cracker, doggie, mama, dada, uh-oh (her first word!), go, wow, whoa and "otay" (okay lol).

It is great hearing our LO's sweet little voices!

The girls babble alot, but there aren't any full words yet. Serenity will say da for either dad or dog, mamamama for mom (she says it several times in a row and I can't really tell if she means it as a word or is just babbling), and ca for cat. Once she copied me and said "ca-T!" Arianna will say da or uo for dog and sometimes she'll say dadadada or mamamama but she strings so many together I can't tell if it's real or just babbling. She does babble with TONS of expression! I swear she can babble in those little symbols you see in cartoons that stand for cursing Arianna is our signer though - she'll sign finished and more consistently and will sometimes sign diaper, eat, and milk.

Dalton is a chatterbox too - just not in public or around strangers! He will not talk or smile in public. He's a very serious little guy until he's at home where he's comfy again. It takes some time for him to get comfortable in other places, like grandparents houses, but he only poops at home!

Cambria says mama dada and was saying yes for a while but that stopped. In General she's a very quiet baby. But a lot of us were like that in both family's so Im not worried. My 10 year old Niece didn't talk till she was 2 and now you can't shut her up!!

Isaac is constantly babbling, but the only real words he says are mama and ball. for some reason everything he tries to say only comes out as "ba ba!" but it's weird, even though thats his main babbling noise, i totally understand what he's trying to say each time he does it. like sometimes i know he's trying to say "baby", because he's pointing at a picture of a baby when he does it. or when he sees a dog he has another certain way of saying "ba ba!" that lets me know he's trying to say "dog". does that make sense? i guess i just know him well enough to get what he's meaning.

also, we've signed with him since birth but he doesn't sign back yet. he knows what a lot of them mean but for some reason i can't get him to reciprocate.

eta: i forgot, he says "boob" too
