Hey ladies!!! It has been a BUSY BUSY MONTH!!


My mom got in and settled in, she already even has a job!


Now to the exciting parts, the wedding-
The wedding went OKAY we started out pictures an hour and a half late, so we were rushing to get the ones I wanted, we ended up shorting the time for family pics, so I dont have hardly any family pics but it was still fun! The reception was fun, I had bought a 2nd dress at Sears (it was 60% off!) so that I could have a dress that DH hadn't seen me in yet (he didn't even know I bought it) but when we got to the reception and I disappeared to change, the zipper broke....at that point there was no way I was putting my 30lb dress back on lol so we "ghettotized" it and put safety pins up the side of it...not even on the inside either....but it worked it was on haha....my feet were killing me by the end of the ceremony, so I didn't wear shoes almost the whole night.....we took a hay ride from the church to the reception hall, it was the best part of the whole day! (aside from the "I do" of course )

We ended up doing Serenitys birthday party on the Sunday after the wedding, since my family was in town....it was fun, but really windy so the "outside" part didn't work so well, and since it was at my MIL's she is CRAZY and wouldn't let everyone just eat and visit inside (she was afraid of the mess the kids would make) so we didn't get very many pics I was sad about that, but we also ended up having another cake for her last week for some family that was too snooty to show up to the first party so I have a few pics of that as well, that hpoefully I will get uploaded soon


**The downside (cuz well there is ALWAYS a downside)
DH was told on THURSDAY 2 days before our wedding that his orders were cut, the state could no longer afford to pay him....he was completely blindsided.....we had no idea or else we would have spent less on the wedding and other things....its killing us right now but hopefully he will get another job soon....in the meantime I am going to be starting a job on the 1st to help us out...I'm super sad about it, but I'm hoping to be able to work nights so that Serenity doesn't know that I'm gone.

I will post some pics on the locked forum from the pics we did before the wedding!

I'm so glad you're back! The wedding pictures are beautiful! I'm sorry your 2nd dress broke At least you were able to do something with it to wear it It makes for a great story!

I'm sorry that Serenity's birthday party didn't go as planned. I hope next year goes better. It's more of a disappointment for you, than her... she won't remember

And... that really STINKS about DH's job I hope things get on the up and up for you guys!!!!
