Just wondering how many of us wear glasses or contacts. How long have you worn them?

I am prescribed glasses...i have them. i dont wear them as often as i should. I just got them a few mths ago. I was supposed to have got them a few years ago but never did.

I cant do contacts.

I wear contacts and glasses if I get up during the middle of the night.

I wear glasses, I got my 1st pair in 5th grade and never wore them. I got a new pair in high school and wore them for a couple months. I finally got another pair right before I got pregnant with Isabel and I wear them all the time.

I don't do contacts, scare me

I wear glasses. I've worn them since 6th grade. As much as I'd like to have contacts, my eye doctor thinks it's best for me to stick to glasses. Anytime I'm on the computer or reading something, I take my glasses off because my eyes start to cross if I keep them on. I obviously couldn't do that if I wore contacts.

I got glasses in second grade, wore them on and off through gradeschool, middle school, and into highschool. When I was a senior in high school I got contacts and wore them faithfully until I was about a sophmore in college. Stopped wearing anything for several years until about three years ago (when I realized I couldn't read signs while driving). I wore contacts again until last June (a year ago) when my eyes just wouldn't cooperate anymore. I got an inflamed iris everytime I tried to wear them! Since I can't stand my glasses I only wear them when I have too (driving and reading a book). I need to go back to the eye doctor and see if there are any contacts that I could wear but I haven't had the time!

I got glasses in 2nd grade. Got contacts in 7th grade and have been wearing them ever since. I only wear my glasses when I first wake up in the morning or if I am sick.

I wear glasses and am thinking about going back to contacts. I've worn them for about 8 years.

I got glasses the summer between 5th and 6th grade. In 9th grade I got contacts and it is very very rare for anyone to see me in my glasses.
