Kiefer can be like that. It appears to only happen when he's tired. He also doesnt' hand things over very often which we are working on.
Cameron will hand over whatever I ask for and he thinks it's a game. He doesn't throw a fit unless things are forcibly taken from him.

Ben usually won't hand over something he knows he's not supposed to have, but he does throw a fit when I pry it out of his grubby little paws! He has QUITE the scream, too, and it makes my head spin. I have a feeling we're going to have a long road ahead of us in toddlerhood!

Carlie has been throwing AWFUL fits lately. Friday morning she screamed and sobbed for 15 minutes b/c I put her down to dress Wyatt. *sigh* I think she's going to be a drama queen. I know there wasn't anything wrong with her. She just wanted to be held.

Sammy has fits too. He gets mad when we take him away from stuff or stuff away from him. And he gets especially mad about wanting to be held too. Other than that, he's a pretty happy kid.

Sophie has started the fit throwing too. She gets upset when something doesn't go her way and I'll say "come here Sophie" and she'll make this screeching noise and just sit down LOL.

Charlie will throw a fit occasionally but I'm able to distract her with something else. Sometimes in the middle of her fit, I'll give her a certain look and she'll start laughing because she knows she just being dramatic.

Enzo started throwing fits around his birthday a couple months ago. At first they were over anything and very dramatic. I stared ignoring them. Now he does not throw them very often and when he does the last about 20 seconds.

Sounds like we're all on the same page. Hannah has been doing this I recently noticed. She is sooo upset over the littlest things. She is just like her sister DRAMA QUEEN! LOL

Xavier used to throw the WORST FITS EVER. I mean, throwing himself backwards and it would terrify me. I started leaving lots of pillows around in the living room or I would lay him down right when he started up and ignored him, now he'll just roll to the floor in slow motion and lay there looking at me (it's actually funny to watch). I would just ignore it, and if you are worried about him hurting himself, lay him down on the floor gently until he calms down.

Kaitlyn does throw some fits. Mostly when I take things away that she is not supposed to have. Sometimes she will give them to me when I ask her to, but other times she runs away with them. Yesterday I took away an ice tea container and she threw such a fit that she ran down the hallway and banged on our bedroom door.... LOL. I ignore them. She does seem to be getting a bit better, but I'm sure there will be more ahead of us.

Matilda's screaming fits started around 10 1/2 or 11 months. I would just tell her that if she couldn't be nice I wasn't going to be around and turn my back until she calmed down. She's gotten a lot better about the screaming since then--especially since I make such a fuss over her when she does good things--clapping and good girls and ooh and ahhs and all that jazz.
Now her fits are usually really short--she sort of just says "arrrrrrr" and either shakes her hands in front of her or shuffles them all over a table or highchair tray if it's handy. Sometimes this results in all her food getting tossed on the floor and she gets punished again (dinner's over, that's rude, if you can't be nice, so on and so forth, put on the floor and ignore)
So I think the fits, while annoying are totally normal.
My battle now is when I say no she looks at me, makes a mean face and then says "hmmm YEAH!" Which in and of itself is not a big deal, but it's SO funny that I have a really hard time not laughing when she does it! LOL
