Unfortunately!! I've been having a lot of pains in my cervix and pelvis so I went in on Tuesday so my doctor could check me. He did a fetal fibronectin test and it came back positive...meaning that there is about a 50% chance that I will go in to premature labor. He sent me to L&D yesterday to be monitored and also to get steroid shots for the babies lungs. I was having some contractions but nothing major. He started me on nifedipine and checked me again. I'm a finger tip dilated and 50% effaced with my stitch still in. The babies head is down, but it's not pressing right on my cervix which is good. He put me on strict bedrest. His exact words were, "I want your life to be so boring that you look forward to coming to your doctors appointment every week." I'm frustrated because I thought since I had the stitch this time that I wouldn't have to do bedrest, but if it's good for the baby then I'm obviously going to do it. Now if I can convince DH to get me a new charger for my laptop I'll be fine cause I'll be able to be on here more often.

oh wow! Thats good they are doing all the things like steroids for the baby in case of premature labor. That must be scary. Try to relax (Im sure easier said than done!). I cant believe you are already 30 weeks! It seems to me it flew by! I'll be sending thoughts and prayers your way!
