(Disclaimer: This is not meant to be a debate! )

Do you let your baby watch TV? We don't really have Ava watch much TV, but during the month of December there are a lot of the classic Christmas cartoons that are on in the evenings like Merry Christmas Charlie Brown, The Grinch, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, etc that we let her sit up in high chair and watch. She loves cartoons! She also loves that Gummybear video on YouTube Now that she's older I'm more open to letting her watch some TV whereas before I was such a stikler about it. But now she actually pays attention too! When she was younger she never really noticed the tube. I'm excited for us to watch Disney movies together too

Well my husband is addicted so he often has the TV on (I hate it, but I married it lol) she ignores it, occasionally she'll wave at the person on screen. I do turn on the disney channel for her in the morning so I can have a cup of tea and jump on the internet, and she'll pay attention to it for 2-4 mins and then she's over it. I have caught her dancing to the songs sometimes though

We don't really let her watch tv. Although I REALLY want to. There are just things I think she would be excited about. But, I guess she doesn't know what she's missing, yet. When we have it on she's not too interested either. I admit we've shown her some Sesame St and Yo Gabba Gabba online.

Em was not that big on television until the 80th time Rylin watch an Elmo movie. She really loves "Elmo in Grouchland". When I have the tv on now she is normally watching it. I think it is cute. She is not always watching it and likes to play, but she does tend to like watching Sesame Street or Elmo.

Will watches TV and when he's watching in the living room she watches too. Even when she was tiny she would turn her head all the way around just to see what was going on on TV! She likes Sesame Street the most, I think.

Lately I've been more conscious of how much the TV is on and am limiting it a lot, even for Will.

Sometimes. He loves a few shows like Yo Gabba Gabba and Miss Spider, but it's usually 15 minutes a day broken up into a few minutes at a time.

You'll find with the second child you feel much less guilty about it

Abby watches TV in the morning and the occasional movie in the afternoon. Anna won't sit down and watch a full show, but she will stop for a few minutes and watch it, then walk away. At this age, their attention span is so short, they usually wont' watch much TV anyway.

Dillon is also addicted to the TV so it's on a lot here, though he rarely pays attention. I'm not strict about just having it on in the background, heck when I'm home I play on the floor with him while watching Regis and Kelly or Ellen, but he doesn't sit there and watch it. I wouldn't actually sit him in front of a movie or anything yet, because for one thing there is no way he'd watch it The only thing he'll watch for more than a few seconds is Sesame Street, usually when Elmo is on

I am a TV junkie! But amazingly enough neither of my children have to watch TV. Kadin loves to turn it off...lol...I think that he likes the sound better than the picture.
