Sorry for taking so long to update everyone! Ive been terrible with time lately.

As Amy posted, Leah was born Feb 17th at 6:33pm after what seemed like labor from hell lol I went in to be induced at 7am, and by 8:30 they noticed I started having my own contractions that were 4mins apart. I noticed some the night before but I figured it was just nerves! They started the Pitocin at 11am, which put me into strong contractions at 2mins apart, by 12pm my contractions were 1.5mins apart and the worse pain I could ever imagine. I would never wish that on my worse enemy! I asked for the Epidural at 2:30pm and they told me I had to be at 3cm to get it. Well I was at 4cm and Epi was given at 3:30pm because everyone else in the hospital was getting the Epi before me lol I was so scared, and the man giving the Epi was a chatter box and put it in the wrong spot on my spine. After correcting it, I was finally able to breathe. By 4pm I was at 7cm, by 6pm I was at 10cm and ready to push. After 20mins, they noticed her head was stuck and pushing her chin into her chest so they decided to use the vacuume to assist her out. She came into the world not making a sound, perfectly content and obsserving everyone lol Only down part is I have massive 3rd degree tearing from pretty much here to there, because of the vacuume but it so beats having another c-section!

So thats pretty much it! I stayed for 72 hours, which kept me bouncing off the walls. I was missing Kaleb something awefull. Leah is a champ at nursing, although I wish the nurses/doctor would have stoped questioning me on my ability to breastfeed and their constant offering me formula to suppliment her with. It was a hard battle trying to proove I'm a capable mother (I look like Im 18, which is nothing more than a statistic around here) and didnt need people belittleling me. Either way its over with, we're home and happy

Pictures!

Congratulations Donna - she is just precious! Sorry no one is believing in your ability to nurse her, stick to your guns.

She is such a beautiful girl - enjoy your daughter!

LOL I'd love to enjoy her, but sadly Ive become the milk factory already, and she wants to be in Joes arms only. Its cute, but sad at the same time.

Thanks everyone!

She's gorgeous Donna! Congrats to you, Joe and Kaleb! She does look a lot like her brother! Having a girl is so much fun! Good for you, standing up to the nurses about nursing. I hated the nurses with Lili's delivery, they did much the same thing!

Awww, look at all that hair! She's absolutely gorgeous, congratulations.

Glad you were able to have a successful VBAC. I picked up a few ice pack tricks from my 4th degree tear experience, if you're interested. Hope you heal quickly.

Sorry you were nagged about nursing. It's hard to fathom that it even goes on in this day and age.

Anyway, congratulations again!
