I'm not just talking about "no" either. I am always telling them to "eat your food" or "drink your milk" or "don't throw that on the floor" but it is most often the "eat your food". They are driving me bonkers w/ playing instead of eating!

Ugh yes. Our most repeated phrases are "Let's go" "Come here" "STOP THROWING" and "Gentle....be gentle....BE GENTLE!"

Yes, constantly. Here are the most common...

Eat your food.
Dont throw that.
Pick up those ____.
No wash/walk/up/sit/*fill in random verb here* right now.
Do you need to potty?
Say please/thank you/youre welcome.
Lets go.

I don't think its avoidable when you have a toddler. LOL!
My most used phrases are:
That's not a toy.
Don't touch the dog bowls.
The dog bowls are not a toy.
Don't give your food to the dogs.
Don't touch the tv.
Be nice to the doggies.
Leave the doggies alone!!!
Do you want time out?
Do you want pow pow?
Listen to mommy and daddy.
ETA: And lets not forget the oldie but goodie, "Come here!"

Hate to tell you guys this, but it gets worse. WAY worse.

I don't really notice it with Caleb but with Seth, OMG. I have to tell him things 5 times before he does them.

Oh yeah, it definitely gets worse! Lili is my easiest child.
I am constantly saying
"Get over here"
"Please don't put your hands on everything you see"
"STOP touching THINGS!"
"Do you need to go to the corner?"
"Please pick up the toys"
"Pick up the toys now"
"Clean your room"
"Stop being so loud"
"Keep your hands to yourself"
"STOP screaming!"

I could go on, I am sure I sound like a broken record to everyone around me, I constantly feel like one!

Hey, look with your eyes, not your hands
What are you doing?
Are you supposed to be doing that?
Is that a good choice or a bad choice?
SHARE or I'll take ______ away!
Do you need to go potty?
Don't stand on that, you'll fall
Are you okay?
Don't climb on the furniture/jump on the beanbags, etc

Those are the first ones that come to mind...

I teach 5 year olds. It does get worse! I am SO frustrated today. I have said "Follow Directions" or "listen to me" or "Stop Talking" OVer and over and over. I am SO over it all!

Oh yes, stop talking is a huge one over here! Jerome is my little chatter box and if I ignore him...he says "mommy I'm talking to you, listen to me" repeatedly until he has my full attention.

Ours are No, What are you doing? , Get back here with that!, Get down off of there!, Be gentle, and Watch out for Sissy! As for eating, well he will pretty much eat anything you put in front of him, so that isn't too much of a problem. Our problems are his climbing, his grabbing things he knows he shouldnt and running away from us, and not watching out where he is going...he is forever running into Sarah, and with her being mobile now he tends to run over her even more. Poor girl...no wonder she started walking along furniture right before 8 months....to get away from him!

I was JUST going to say this! We have to repeat stuff MORE with Rachel. David's pretty good about doing things we ask the 1st or 2nd time we ask them. But, with Rachel, I do feel like I'm a broken record.
