I am starting on Monday so I have a question... Does anyone do the 30ds from exercise on demand? Is it different than the actual tape? Because if it is I will go buy the dvd so I can participate accordingly

Christa, do you recommend more than 3lb weights? Should I get heavier ones? Do I need anything else to do the workouts?

If you have hardwood floors, get a yoga mat. She says you need a mat if you're working out on hard surface.

I would also try the 3 lbs weights before getting heavier ones. I use 2lbs ones right now and it's given me a pretty good work out.

I started my first 30 days with 2 lb weights, and that was a challenge for me. I just finished my 1st week of my second 30 days with 5 lbs. I can assure you I would have died if I tried my first 30 with those. And my kids would have no mother, lol! You do want to push yourself, but you don't want to hurt yourself. I use the DVD, so I couldn't tell you if that's different than the on demand or not.

You know, a friend told me that 30DS was On Demand too for free... I need to look b/c I have Comcast too. But, I use the DVD.

I also use the DVD.

I've used in On Demand and it's the same as the DVD. My On Demand only has one level at a time (usually 1 or 2) so if I wanted to progress I couldn't without the DVD.

I use 5 lb weights for everything except the lateral and front shoulder work. For that I use 2 lb weights.

Thanks Meagan-I think I will start today with the demand and then this week I will go buy the dvd so that I can progress instead of doing the same routine over and over again!

I started out with 2 lb weights. I just moved up to 3 lb weights on Day 8. I wanted to make sure I could do the movements correctly.
