So I am so annoyed because I seem to have caught the cold that my girls currently have...sore throat, runny nose and headache. I was hoping to get in a good workout today but think I better skip it. I'm considering taking a walk later for fresh air and some movement. What do you do when you are sick?
I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to being sick... I'll go for walks (I find a walk outside with fresh air helps when I've got a bad cold!) but I won't actually push myself and work out; I prefer my body use all its reserves fighting off the bug and getting healthy as quick as possible!
I don't work out when I'm sick. I've had a nasty bug for a week now, and Leah had it just before me, so I haven't done a darn thing in two weeks. But it's OK, I prefer to let my body rest and get well before I exert myself too much. Hope you feel better soon!
You're body is really busy fighting right now. If you don't feel like you could do it, than don't. For me, if it's a headcold, I'll still workout, anything lower than that is a no got (chest, stomach) Feel better soon! Maybe you'll loose some sick weight
